AUTOCAD DRAFTSMAN
Chennai • Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate technical drawings and detailed layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare quantity estimates from drawings and project documents.
- Assist in quantity surveying activities, including material estimation, BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation, and cost analysis.
- Interpret engineering and architectural drawings and convert concepts into precise technical documents.
- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and client feedback.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Ensure all drawings and quantity estimates comply with relevant standards, specifications, and project requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in drafting and quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and quantity estimation/BOQ preparation.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
